Rotary Radio Auction
November 5th-8th, 2007
For over thirty
years, the Piedmont Rotary Club has relied on this one annual event to
raise funds to support its philanthropic activities throughout the year.
Club members are sensitive to the constant demands on area businesses to
support numerous fund raising campaigns and, therefore, limit our fund
raising efforts to this one occasion.
Items or services donated by area businesses are auctioned over
Kickin Kountry 105 (KPWB 104.9 FM)
Air time is generously provided by the
Dockens Radio Group.
In exchange for
their donation, participating businesses receive radio advertising
promoting their business throughout Wayne and surrounding counties.
Advertising copy is prepared by Rotarians working with the donating
business.
Successful bidders
settle their account at the offices of the
Wayne County Journal Banner newspaper
located at 101 W. Elm Street, Piedmont, MO. There they pick up the item
or paid receipt which they take to the contributing business to receive
the auction item or service.
