Philanthropy

The Piedmont Rotary Club exists to serve the community and to promote excellence in all vocations. It is the vehicle through which its members provide support to worthwhile projects that alleviate hunger, promote literacy, improve health and living standards or contribute to improving the quality of life for the citizens of the surrounding area.

Some typical examples:

·       Scouts- Boys and Girls

·       Piedmont Library

·       Love Thy Neighbor

·       Christmas Baskets

·       Scholarships

·       Clearwater Family Youth Center

·       Recognition for Teachers of the year

·       Sheltered Workshop

·       Food Bank

·       Sponsor  youth sports teams

·       Keds for Kids

·       Dictionaries for every county 3rd grade student

Our objective is to return into the community all proceeds raised through annual fund raising efforts, in the most effective and prudent manner.

The future belongs to our youth and the Piedmont Rotary Club is dedicated to helping area youth achieve their fullest potential by helping overcome barriers to education and athletic achievement.

The Piedmont Rotary Club welcomes any request for financial assistance that meets the above criteria. Details of the request should be submitted using the Financial Support Request Form.

Requests approved by the Review Committee may result in an invitation to appear before the club to describe the project in greater detail, receive a check or report on the outcome. Such events may be photographed and publicized in the media.

"Make Dreams Real"
is what Rotary is all about. Today, Piedmont Rotarians are committed to both local and international service projects that make a difference and impact lives. Looking for a place to "give back" to the community? Then, I personally invite you to visit our club!
